The Harbor team is sponsored by Cohasset Hospitality Partners—a firm largely owned and operated by longtime Cohasset residents, George McGoldrick and Ted Lubitz. Principals of Black Rock Development LLC and Harbor Run Development LLC, George and Ted came to the partnership with extensive real estate backgrounds and intimate knowledge of Cohasset and its community.

Black Rock was formed in 1999 to develop the Black Rock Country Club and The Residences at Black Rock located in Hingham, MA. Its principal was the visionary for the golf and residential community which includes 138 luxury Adirondack style homes nestled into the existing granite landscape and the Brian Silva designed golf course. Harbor Run was formed in 2017, and together with its partners, owns over 220 units of housing in the greater Boston area and is in various stages of the development process on four residential developments, including The Harbor.

The partnership between Black Rock and Harbor Run expands beyond The Harbor, as both companies represent a majority stake of Cohasset Hospitality Partners, a joint venture formed in 2019 to acquire and revitalize three key properties in Cohasset: The Red Lion Inn, The Cohasset Harbor Inn, and the Olde Salt House. Together, they assembled a team of local and Boston-based professionals to contribute to The Harbor’s creation.

Klopfer Martin Design Group (KMDG) is an interdisciplinary team of designers whose work operates at the seam of landscape, architecture, infrastructure, and urban design. Their work emerges from the contemporary integration of a site’s history and cultural context to create more inclusive and resilient sites that build community.

Their work has been recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects, Boston Society of Landscape Architects, the Rudy Bruner Award of Urban Excellence, the Environmental Design Resource Association, the American Institute of Architects, and the American Planning Association among others, and has been published throughout the world.

Cavanaro Consulting has provided unmatched quality engineering, land planning, and environmental permitting services to a wide variety of private, commercial, and municipal clients since 2001. The firm's commitment to maintaining a high level of performance in mapping, planning, engineering, and permitting services is evidenced in the company's list of repeat clients since inception. With a dedicated staff of licensed professional engineers, land surveyors, and soil evaluators, Cavanaro Consulting has completed projects of various types and sizes that involve land-use planning, wetland evaluations, coastal permitting, land-court determinations, and local, state, and federal permitting for a wide range of high-end residential developments along the South Shore for over twenty years.
